From the Depths of Darkness

One left him dead,
Buried under the layers of soil and dirt,
Like a coffin containing a dead body,
She forsake him to the damp and the gloom,
Into the depths of darkness underground.

The other foraged for him,
Through the damp and the gloom,
Unmindful of the layers of soil and dirt,
Realizing the potential of his existence,
She seeped through the depths of darkness underground.

She had the touch of life,
Blended as a soul mate,
Nurtured him and to nutrition him,
Held him strong under the damp and the gloom,
To break through the depths of darkness.

One had buried him to the ground,
Forgetting that he is a seed,
The other had foraged for him in the ground,
Knowing that he is a seed,
To realize his destiny, through the depths of darkness.

He rose through the damp and gloom,
Strong and steady, growing every day.
Why would he try to blend in,
While he was born to stand apart,
Securing his unique place in nature, from the depths of darkness.

Though the wind left him lonely and deserted,
The role was indispensable though,
Without the wind,
Who would know the importance of water,
For the seed to break through the depths of darkness.

The flow of the wind, and seepage of the water,
Are as necessary a process, the vicious cycle continues,
Is all but a part of life,
Let the wind flow, for the water to reach you,
Till then, wait for it alone in the depths of darkness.
